Postdoc – Immunology

Summary

A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Dorina Avram in the Department of Immunology at the Moffit Cancer Center to study immune dysregulation in cancer and autoimmunity. Our lab investigates transcriptional and epigenetic regulatory mechanisms that control cellular programs of immune cells with the ultimate goal to harness altered responses in cancer and autoimmunity.

We employ genetically engineered mouse models, patient-derived samples, organoid culture systems, along with state of the art molecular methodologies, including transcriptomics (bulk and scRNAseq), ATACseq, ChIPseq, proteomics and metabolomics, multiplex immunofluorescence and spatial transcriptomics, working in a highly collaborative environment.

Credentials and Qualifications: We seek an enthusiastic candidate with a Ph.D. in immunology, with strong commitment to research and rich experience, including working with mice.
