Summary
The Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist at the Assistant or Associate Member level to fill a faculty position in its growing Behavioral Medicine Service, which is part of the Supportive Care Medicine Department. Responsibilities include leading the inpatient consultation service, and participating in the educational programs and engaging in research activities of the department. The ideal candidate will have experience with inpatient consultation liaison practice and/or a psycho-oncology background.

Requirements:
Applicants must have a Florida medical license as an M.D. or D.O. and be board certified or eligible in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and must become board certified within five (5) years of initial appointment. Requires successful completion of an approved Fellowship in Psychiatry.

Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute, Florida’s only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, is a rapidly growing Center affiliated with the University of South Florida. The Cancer Center is comprised of a large ambulatory care facility, a 206-bed hospital, with a 36-bed blood and marrow transplant program, 20 state of the art operating suites, a 30-bed intensive care unit, a high volume screening program, and a basic science research facility. The Moffitt Research Institute (MRI) is comprised of approximately 160 Principal Investigators, 58 laboratories, and 306,000 square feet of research space.
